03 / THE AI LAB

A little experimentation
goes a long way.

HUMAN DIRECTION + AI ASSISTANCE

An idea becomes more useful when you can interact with it.

This site is an AI-assisted build: from the visual direction and original voxel artwork to the browser experiments below. The process pairs human decisions with generated code, then checks the result in practice.

  1. 01

    Define the problem

Set the purpose, constraints, and what a useful result looks like.

  2. 02

    Build a small version

Use AI to explore approaches and turn ideas into a working prototype.

  3. 03

    Test, refine, repeat

Review the code, try the interactions, and fix what the evidence shows.

◼ VOXEL FIELD / EXPERIMENT 001

Adjust. Rotate. See what changes.

04 / OFF THE CLOCK

Good systems.
A little play.

Small games. Real interactions.
No install required.

BROWSER GAME / LOGIC

Packet Shift↗

A tiny network with a small problem: too many nodes are lit up. Switch off every node to clear the board.

Selecting a node flips it and its immediate neighbors. There’s no timer—just a little logic.

How to play

Tap or click a square to toggle it and its neighbors above, below, left, and right. Turn all 16 squares dark. Keyboard: Tab between nodes, then Enter or Space to toggle. Every new puzzle is generated from a solved board and can be solved.

05 / BEHIND THE SCREEN

Administrator by trade.
Builder by curiosity.

I’m Kris. I work at the intersection of IT systems, software, and an ongoing desire to figure out how things work.

Vonkerz is my digital workbench—a place for projects, games, tools, and experiments. Some ideas are practical. Some are playful. All are a reason to keep learning.

The website itself is part of that work: a lightweight, expandable portfolio built with AI assistance and a soft spot for pixels.
